Opulent is the best word to describe our 2013 Eleanor, now aged to perfection and revealing the full breadth of its character. Even the nose offers a level of decadence, where fragrances of blackberries, crème de cassis, violets, and cloves set the stage for a lush, jammy palate of wild raspberries. As the wine opens, time in the cellar becomes beautifully apparent—layers of flavor unfold with grace, reminiscent of blueberry crumble, enlivened by fragrant notes of toasted spices and vanilla, culminating in a finish that is both seamless and enduring.
